Turks and Caicos Reservations, the Turks and Caicos Islands’ only locally-based reservation service today launched a special promotion to commemorate new air service being offered by Air Canada to Turks and Caicos. Air Canada will begin direct, non-stop service from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, on Feb 16 2012 through April 26, 2012. To celebrate the additional airlift, Turks and Caicos Reservations is giving away Bambara rum cakes to every person who books hotels and villas in the Turks and Caicos Islands through its service. In addition, the company offers a range of special deals and promotions of up to 40% off at premier resorts throughout the islands.

The popular beachside event will take place on Saturday afternoon (November 28) in the Blue Hills area of Providenciales, outside of Three Queen’s Bar & Restaurant. Major sponsors include Lime, The Wine Cellar, PPC, and The Somerset on Grace Bay. This year, the traditional and culturally-rich festivities extend throughout the weekend with a pre-party at the Somerset on Friday evening and a charity run on Sunday morning.
