Looking for an all inclusive vacation to the Turks and Caicos Islands where you pay for everything in advance, including all your meals drinks and activities? Then consider Beaches and Club Med and leave your wallet at home!

The Turks and Caicos features three of the world most premier all inclusive resort brands – Beaches, Club Med Turquoise and the Veranda Resort. All allow guest to make a booking that includes your nightly room rate, as well as your meals and drinks, and some activities such as snorkeling trips, water sports and other amenities. Rates are normally quotes on a per person basis and include taxes and gratuities.

So what’s the difference between them?

Beaches, which is operated by The Sandals Resorts company, is the most family friendly resort in the Turks & Caicos, if not the world. From Sesame Street characters, to video arcades, to an endless list of supervised kids activities, to their newly opened water park, your kids will never be without something to do.  Beaches even offers baby sitting services. The property features several restaurants – and even an Irish Pub -  where you can dine as often as you like (and not get a bill!), two pools, on site water sports operations, including scuba diving, and much more. The newly-opened Italian Village is an impressive new addition to an already fantastic property and the resort is also a good choice for people without kids, a group trip or even a destination wedding (something they specialize in organizing, right down to the on site photography service).

Club Med Turquoise is literally at the other end of the spectrum (it’s located on the east end of Grace Bay Beach, Beaches is on the western end). Club Med is adults-only and caters to a young, hip crowd. Famous for their entertaining shows and nightlife (including a Cirque de Soleil-ish acrobatic performance), the energy level is high and the fun factor off the charts. A bit smaller than Beaches and with only one restaurant (plus a beachside bar – Sharkys where the party goes to the wee hours), Club Med provides an enjoyable tropical vacation at a pre-paid price. Being a French company, there is a certain European flair at this property and you’ll often see and hear French being used by customers and staff. It, too, has a complete water sports operation and concierge services. Let their famous GOs (kind of like camp counselors for grown ups) make your trip to Turks and Caicos even more enjoyable at this unique all-inclusive resort.

The Veranda Resort, also located on Grace Bay Beach is the newest among the all-inclusive resorts in Turks & Caicos and is a family friendly ultra-luxurious accommodation. The rooms are beautifully decorated and with your choice of a suite or a stand-alone cottage (with a personal concierge) you won’t be disappointed. Not only are there two restaurants to dine at on site, but also all suites except studio feature full gourmet kitchens. The kids club is also included in the rate. The beach front bar features nightly entertainment and the Sky Lounge is a great 2nd level roofless restaurant, allowing guests to dine under the stars.

WHATAREPEOPLESAYING?
I corresponded with Sonya via live chat, she was pleasant, thorough, and answered all my questions. No hard sell tactics, and loved the free travel reward of Coco Bistro gift certificates. By booking with her, I got by far the best deal I’ve come across in my 7 years of booking various trips to Europe, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific!
