We absolutely LOVE booking guests at this truly classic Caribbean boutique resort, it stands out among the other Grace Bay resorts for its British Colonial architecture and furnishings, to-die-for spa, very romantic Grace’s Cottage Restaurant, and superb location in the heart of Grace Bay, two thumbs up.

Plans are already underway for the best ever Conch Festival here in the Turks & Caicos Conch Festival Islands… and if you’ll be here on the island of Providenciales during the entire month of November, you can look forward to having a Conch Festival event to attend in the Blue Hills area on each Saturday during the month.

We’ll be updating this blog post soon when details are finalized, however, different related events including ‘largest live conch’, ‘conch knocking contest’ and a mystery event are all in the works.  Of course, the culmination will occur on the main day of the event, Saturday November 24th, 2012 where the festivities will start  promptly at noon.

Visitors enjoy the multitude of different ways that conch is prepared throughout the top tier restaurants in the island – have you tried curried conch, conch in a blanket, conch salad, sweet and sour conch, conch fritters?

We’re (Turks & Caicos Reservations) so happy to be a GOLD LEVEL SPONSOR of this signature event in the islands, and, is the ‘Official Accommodation Reservation Service of the Conch Festival’.  Click here to get packages including your resort and free festival tickets as your free Travel Reward when you book with us!

Lastly, event organizers and our planning committee will be giving away free tickets to the festival as well as free Conch Festival tshirts – to the winners of a series of trivia and contests on facebook.

If you’ve ever cruised by Donna Karan’s house on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands, you’ll quickly see what she loves about this place.  On her recent interview with Vanity Fair magazine’s website, she reveals that when she needs to get a break from her more than hectic life  she ‘goes to “Parrot Cay for my calm, Haiti for my chaos. They’re the yin and the yang of my life and only an hour apart, so I usually go to both back to back.”

One of Grace Bay’s most well know secret hideaways (is that an oxymoron?) now has a brand new identity.  Hundreds of guests have enjoyed the home-style atmosphere and hospitality that Resort Manager Rebecca and her team (including ‘Goat’ the chef of Simba) has offered up through their ‘Turks & Caicos Club’ beachfront offering…

Now under new management and leadership and with a brand new look & feel (even includes a new color paint on the roof top), ‘Beach House Turks and Caicos‘ is here (July 2012).  Guest rooms have had a thorough revamping, and have a very relaxing feel, full kitchens removed and replaced with simple kitchenettes, Chef Eric brings a brand new and creative dimension to the dining experience, and guests are treated

to their very own ‘pampering pod’ offering up treats for the beach!  The small and intimate resort setting also makes for a great choice for a small wedding where you can book out the entire resort (imagine the pictures!).

And oh yeah … literally a two minute walk down the beach is a really cool snorkeling reef that’s full of fish, coral, rays and turtles.

Highly recommended!
