Scuba Diving Turks and Caicos Islands - among the best in the world!

Many visitors come to the Turks and Caicos just to experience our world class scuba diving. Scuba Diving in Turks & Caicos is safe and convenient, with many dive sites just a short boat ride from shore. Countless named dive spots entice divers of all levels, and our famous reefs attract a wide variety of sea life, as well as offer divers dramatic wall diving experiences.

Dive trips usually begin from the north or south sides of Providenciales (Provo), where the dive shops keep their boats in full service marinas. Dive spots are as close as 10 minutes from shore – in front of Grace Bay Beach or just off Pine Cay. Longer tips to Northwest Point, West Caicos and French Cay are worth the effort and make for a fun day trip aboard our professionally staffed and equipped dive fleet. Dive operators are also available in North Caicos and South Caicos. There's even an interesting Blue Hole formation off of Middle Caicos that only a few of the dive operators know about well enough to take guests.

On Grand Turk, friendly dive shops bring divers to flourishing spots that are just a short ride from the beach.

Divers throughout the islands regularly spot large creatures cruising along our reefs - sharks, sting rays and eagle rays, whales, dolphins and other creatures of the deep. Look carefully for the bashful lobsters hiding in the rocks, or octopus and eels slinking along the sea bottom. Of course, you'll enjoy schools of colorful fish and minute creatures that our expert dive masters can point out. And the coral itself is breathtaking, coming in all shapes and colors, it is the source of all life in our waters and the reason even the most experienced divers come back again and again.

There are plenty of fully equipped scuba and snorkel shops in the Turks and Caicos Islands (with plenty of rental equipment) which can take you on half day and full trips to our famous reefs. They all offer full certification courses, too, so you don't need to have any experience at all before you arrive. Most dive shops offer free shuttle service to and from your hotel to their docks.
